What is technical assistance? Technical assistance is guidance offered by CILA staff, whether attorneys or social workers, to advocates working with children or youth in immigration proceedings. Individualized responses are provided via email or phone, and can include legal research, connection with other advocates, guidance on ethical issues, or information about community resources, depending on the nature of the request.
Who do we accept technical assistance from? Legal and social work technical assistance is available to legal or social services staff in the Acacia UCP network of legal services providers nationwide and to pro bono attorneys or other advocates working with unaccompanied children.

You should receive an automated confirmation email that your request was received. If you do not receive this confirmation email immediately after your submission, contact us at cila@abacila.org.
