CILA recognized the need to have introductory videos detailing the foundational concepts in working with children in immigration proceedings. The staff recorded the videos below in 2019 for anyone who is new to the field or needs a refresher. The Introduction to Asylum, Introduction to Removal Proceedings for Unaccompanied Children, Introduction to Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Family-Based Immigration and VAWA for Unaccompanied Children, Options for Child Survivors of Crimes, and Research and CILA Resources videos were updated in 2022. The videos are also available for pro bono attorneys working on immigration related cases.
