The ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) invites you to join us for a legal webinar on current challenges in immigration court facing unaccompanied children. We will discuss current trends in removal proceedings including rocket dockets, appearing as Friend of the Court, contesting/denying pleadings, and procedural options such as voluntary departure. The discussion will include practical considerations and strategies from advocates on the ground. The discussion will not include specific forms of relief for unaccompanied children except as they impact removal proceedings. We will end with time for questions and discussion.
