The ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) invites you to a webinar presentation providing a review of substantive and procedural changes in immigration law affecting unaccompanied children over the past year.

The webinar will guide participants through the changes that have occurred since the last CILA Roundup webinar in December 2024. Topics covered will include changes and updates related to working with unaccompanied children and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), enforcement updates, Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), special immigrant juvenile status (SIJS) and adjustment of status, crime and trafficking survivors and related legal relief, asylum, and self-care. The presentation will highlight changes over the past year, including practical tips to advocate for unaccompanied children. The presentation aims to provide guidance on how to practice in a constantly changing environment, as well as pointing to resources to guide advocates along the way.

Please note the content of this program does not meet requirements for continuing legal education (CLE) accreditation. You will not receive CLE credit for participating.
