The ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) invites you to join us for Part Two of our training on Habeas Petitions for Unaccompanied Children. In Part One, we covered the nuts and bolts of habeas corpus petitions in federal court as well as some special considerations for unaccompanied children in ORR custody. We will continue this topic with a deep dive into issue-spotting for unaccompanied children in ORR custody who have strong habeas cases, and advocacy tools for filing and succeeding in ORR habeas cases. We will end with time for questions and discussion.
