The ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) invites you to join our social work program for a webinar.  The training will be The Lineage of Love hands-on art workshop, offered by guest speakers from A Window Between Worlds (AWBW). For over 30 years, A Window Between Worlds has been a leader in the creativity and mental wellness space, providing support to direct service organizations by strengthening their ability to incorporate artistic expression into their work with individuals and communities.

This webinar will offer a window of time for you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the people, places, and inner resources that sustain you—rooted in the power of relationships and community. The facilitators will provide:

• Guided visualization and simple artmaking
• Opportunities to connect and share
• A tangible reminder you can return to for grounding and support
• Resources for this activity and others to support your fellow staff, clients, and communities

No artistic experience or special materials are required. The art workshop can be done with any paper and writing utensils you have on hand. You’re also welcome to print the workshop worksheet (clicking here) to use as you create.

Please note that the content of this program does not meet the requirements for continuing legal education (CLE) accreditation. You will not receive CLE credit for participating.
