The Young Center and KIND collaborate to discuss the policy challenges around the court system, Title 42 and the narrowing of protections for minors in the US as well as what Children’s Advocates should prioritize in order to deliver the best outcome for their clients. With a Child-Centered Paradigm for evaluating client’s best interest, Jennifer and Jason examine reunification, asylum and other options available for unaccompanied children and their advocates to consider. Lastly, they review the current legislative priorities and opportunities for support.
