ABA CILA & COI Release New Pro Bono Program Clinics Toolkit

The ABA Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) is excited to release a new resource for pro bono programs created with the ABA Commission on Immigration (COI). The ABA CILA & COI Pro Bono Program Clinics Toolkit provides a comprehensive overview of designing and running clinics for immigrant children or youth with a focus on the types of documents that will be used by the clinic administrators, clinic volunteers, and clinic participants. The toolkit’s appendices include 11 samples of documents used in running clinics and 5 templates for certain key documents with links to editable Word versions of the templates. CILA and COI created this toolkit for pro bono programs working with children, youth, and/or families in immigration cases. We hope that this resource helps organizations develop and plan their own pro bono clinics.

This is the second toolkit developed by CILA and COI related to pro bono programs specifically. For more pro bono resources and templates, check out the ABA CILA & COI Pro Bono Program Resources & Templates Toolkit (July 2022), available for free here.
