New CILA Video – Listen to My Voice/Escuche Mi Voz

CILA is happy to announce that we have just completed work on an exciting project. Escuche Mi Voz/Listen to My Voice is a 17 minute-video that tells the story of three young adults, Anabel, Vicente, and Nancy. This Spanish language video with English sub-titles was created by CILA for all those who help immigrant youth from Indigenous or Garífuna communities.

Anabel, Vicente, and Nancy all entered the United States as unaccompanied minors and benefitted from the assistance of legal services organizations. They have some advice to share with youth as well as the advocates who work to assist them. CILA is thankful for their willingness to sit down and share their perspectives in front of a camera. We truly enjoyed the opportunity to work with them on this project.

Please take a moment to watch the video, and feel free to share it with other advocates and youth who might want to listen to these voices. The video is posted on CILA’s youth webpages (English & Spanish).
