We are pleased to upload yet another helpful training just recorded this week with NILA. The hour-long Advanced Immigration Legal Research webinar is now available for you to view. In it, Kristin MacLeod-Ball and Tiffany Lieu a great overview of and tips for effective research. Topics include Boolean searching tips, case law research, use of secondary sources, legislative history, and general tips for staying organized while researching. The webinar focuses on legal research on Lexis and Westlaw, while also providing suggestions for obtaining case law and legislative materials from other sources. The content is once again, super practical, and it will change the way you research!
The webinar has been approved for 1.0 participatory hour of CLE credit by the State Bar of Texas.
